LYNZIE HAZAN: OWNER AND LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER
Tell us about what makes your business unique.
Bonphotage was born from a genuine love and passion for photography. I am a UCLA and Northwestern Law School graduate who walked away from a lucrative legal career to pursue my passion in photography. It was a huge risk to choose a passion over a more stable career, and I am thankful everyday for the decision I made. I pour every ounce of passion into my photography and as a result, I have many happy clients!
What differentiates you from other vendors?
In addition to a number of publications and awards for my work, I believe it is my diverse background and personalized approach which differentiates me and my company from other vendors. I have traveled to over 54 countries and have had the distinct honor of meeting people from around the world. I am inspired by art, different cultures, great food, faraway places and I bring that experience to every photo shoot I am a part of. I take extra time to truly get to know my clients and what is important to them. I always include special touches in my photography, which lets my clients know that each image is special to them.
Tell us about the services you offer.
Bonphotage offers photography and videography services. We are based in Chicago and Los Angeles, but we love to travel and have photographed weddings and engagements all over the world! We use top of the line camera equipment and edit every photo and video to perfection in-house. We love natural light but are also technically skilled to handle any lighting situation.
Describe a day in the life!
Part of what I love about being a business owner is the constantly changing daily tasks. My day to day ranges from a combination of training associate photographers and videographers, going to photo shoots, networking, editing photos, traveling and planning creative collaborations.
What is your absolute favorite part of your job?
I absolutely love meaningful, often life-long relationships formed through photography. I often meet couples in love at the time of proposal or engagement and when they receive and love the photos, I am then there to capture their wedding! Next comes children and family and holiday photos. Being a part of people’s lives and capturing their most precious moments is truly an honor and a privilege.
What can your clients expect from working with you?
As the founder and lead photographer, I take great pride in making sure that Bonphotage meets and exceeds the bride and groom’s expectations. Before booking, I make sure to talk to the bride and make sure I understand her style and desires to capture her wedding in the most beautiful way possible. We also love capturing families, corporate events, fashion and portraits when we are not busy shooting weddings. We professionally edit every image that is delivered to the couple and thus far, we have received nothing but praise from our couples!
We work closely with wedding vendors and are always there to help brides through the process with tried and true industry recommendations.
Where do you find inspirations?
I have traveled to over 54 countries and have captured some of the most beautiful locations in the world. I am inspired by art, different cultures, great food and faraway places.
What design and decor trends are you loving right now?
I love asymmetrical bouquets, low to the table mismatched centerpieces, and natural, outdoor venues. I also absolutely love shooting in natural light!
